This Thursday, July 2nd at RIBCO promises to be a show for the ages. Rude Punch will be playing a solid 3 hours plus it's 50 cent 14oz draft night(Either Budlight or Honey Brown), plus it's the official kickoff to the Holiday weekend, plus if you give the door guy the secret password "Thriller" you get a buck off the cover($3 instead of $4). Hell that's 2 beers for crissakes! Hope to see everyone there!

The long awaited debut of Rude Punch's second CD Killin it is fast approaching. The CD is due to drop February 21 and the event will be marked by a CD release celebration at The Redstone Room in Davenport, Iowa. The CD will contain 10 songs and promises to contain a little something for everyone. A few of the songs have been leaked but the vast majority remain a guarded secret. The first time anyone will hear them will be February 21 so get your tickets($5) early as this show will probably sell out. Rude Punch is working very hard in the studio on their second album in preparation for release sometime in February. The new record, as of yet untitled, is shaping up nicely and should prove to be another giant step forward for the band. A CD release party is being planned for February 21 at The Redstone Room in Davenport, Iowa and will kick off a spring tour to promote the new record.

Come help celebrate the River Cities Reader 15th anniversary at the Capitol Theatre in beautiful downtown Davenport, Iowa Thursday October 23rd. A full evening of live music and other fun events is planned with Rude Punch taking the stage at 7:15.

Rude Punch's performance at the Wells Fargo Streetfest this past weekend was unprecedented. The band was busting out all your favorites plus Alan Sweet jumped up on stage and did several songs with the guys. A nice muggy summer day mixed with a good crowd and ample refreshments made for a truely memorable show.

Last night's show at Mound Street Landing in Davenport, Iowa was amazing. The band was soounding excellent. Great crowd and much fun to be had. Alan sweet opened and sat in for several songs with Rude Punch. Brady's vocals were unbelievable and him and Alan on stage together was a real treat. Also, for the first time ever, Adam busted out a drum solo that was kick ass. A good time was had by all.

Rude Punch is looking forward to once again gracing the stage at River Roots Live in Davenport, Iowa this year. By then, the new songs will be ready to go so expect an exciting, power-packed show.

This year Rude Punch will have a 5:45 slot on Friday at the annual YaMakaMyWeekend festival in the District of Rock Island, August 15. The guys are extremely excited about the opportunity to play to a large crowd at the fest this year.

Rude Punch is working on about 20 new songs for their debut full-length CD. They have been practicing them the past couple of weeks and I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear some soon at one of their live shows.
